  7. StyxVis is a Windowed/FullScreen WinAmp plug-in.
  8. It has been tested with WinAmp 1.90 and above (up to 1.92).

  10. To change the many options right click on the plug-in window.
  11. There are a couple of built-in key combinations.
  12.  
  13. - ALT+ENTER     Toggles FullScreen/Windowed Mode
  14. - ALT+PGUP      Switch to the previous configuration
  15. - ALT+PGDOWN    Switch to the next configuration
  16.  
  17. The available options are many which allows you to really customize
  18. this plug-in to suit you taste.  Since there are so many options,
  19. your favorite configurations can be saved in the configuration
  20. manager.  Some sample configurations are included by the development
  21. team and the BETA testers.

  23. Available options:

  25. Blur
  26. ----
  27. Blurring is the main feature of StyxVis.  It can be used to produce
  28. fire like effects or just general blurring.
  29.  
  30. Blur Speed
  31. ----------
  32. This allows control over how fast the blur fades.  There are four
  33. settings from Normal (the slowest) to Super Fast.
  34.  
  35. Color Scheme
  36. -------------
  37. There are four predefined color schemes but most users will want to
  38. pick a custom color scheme by selecting Customize.

  40. Correction
  41. ----------
  42. The raw data from WinAmp is a little non-exciting.  Correction allows
  43. you to change the scale at which the data is displayed.

  45. Position
  46. --------
  47. The display can be moved to the top, middle or bottom of the window.
  48.  
  49. Maximums
  50. --------
  51. This setting controls the rate of decay for the maximums (the little
  52. dots which are pushed up by the lines and fall away).

  54. Song Name
  55. ---------
  56. The current song name can be displayed at various locations in the
  57. window.

  59. Scope
  60. -----
  61. The scopes show the left and right channels as a function of time.

  63. Track WinAmp
  64. ------------
  65. Allows the window to be set so that when WinAmp is moved StyxVis
  66. will follow right along.

  68. Resolution
  69. ----------
  70. There are three resolution levels, which control the "chunkyness" of
  71. the display.

  73. Clear Screen
  74. ------------
  75. Clears the display
  76.  
  77. Full Screen
  78. -----------
  79. Changes StyxVis to full screen.  Note, FullScreen depends upon DirectX
  80. being installed.  The visualize works with Win95/Win98 and WinNT (SP3).

  84. Allows configurations to be saved and loaded and even renamed.
